7 Doggy Faces That Say… My Dog, My Pet, My Friend or My Family
I’ve taken a lot of pet portraits over the years, when I ran a local business near Derbyshire, and its something I loved doing but Circumstances change and you have to move on. Well, one day I came across an old photo of my Labrador “Marty” when I was rooting through some folders of images for a project. He was One maybe two years old. And I just stopped, smiled and let go of the mouse. It took me back to his crazy ways and trashing every low lying cup and saucer with his thick otter-like tail. He’s been with us for over twelve years now.
So, I called him over and compared how he looks now with my digital photo. Wow. He’s put some weight on, his coat is a bit baggy and he has lost his deep sandy colour and he walks up the stairs now rather than trying to fly up them. But I looked into his eye’s and they were just as bright and bold. I could still see the young man ready to shoot off and dig up the lawn, chew my slippers and swim across the pond. These days the walks are less energetic and shorter, the arthritis especially in his hocks play up in the cold, but he still jumps up and down every time I get his collar and lead.
My kids adore him, probably because they can’t remember him chewing up their toys on the odd occasion or eating their supper while they watched TV. So I thought I’d put his photo on the web (its the first one). Well, I found a few others with looks to die for, almost. So take a look at this lovely bunch.
In new challenges that I take on now, its not the new puppy, or should I say start ups but the established business I’m looking for. This lets me help local and national businesses get found online to help generate new leads. So any of you, pet loving successful businesses including photographers and want to increase your Online Marketing presence, get in touch.
I was a studio based photographer for over 10 years and learned some good and now I know bad, marketing methods. Search engines have changed a lot in the last couple of years and I’ve been working hard in the background learning about strategies that work today. Photographers are in a great position to be promoted as it is easy to get conversations going while showing off lots of interesting images, which people often love. Social media is now held in high regard by Google and helps the business develop trust in its customers eye’s.
